Description:

Huila area of Colombia is located in the south of the Cordillera Central in Colombia and is the most famous specialty coffee-producing area in the country. Huila area belongs to the mountainous terrain, and the coffee is planted on the slope of the canyon, so it has a high altitude and a suitable temperature for planting high-quality Arabica beans. The climate on the slopes of the canyon not only prevents the cold wind from blowing in, the gusts of mountain wind bring coolness without high temperature, but also has sufficient rainwater, which can be said to be uniquely blessed to grow coffee.

Huila has a combination of excellent soil and geographic advantages for growing coffee, and some of the most complex, fruity Colombian coffees come from here. This area belongs to the specially selected alpine coffee beans of the Colombian state-owned company, known as the national treasure of Colombia. With superior geographical and climatic conditions, Colombian coffee has always maintained a very high quality. Huila coffee beans have a full taste and a heavy body. It has aromas such as nuts, chocolate, caramel, and smooth pleasant fruity taste.

Acevedo Gatin Farm is located in Acevedo City, Huila Department. The owner of the manor, Ramirez, comes from a coffee-growing family. He has been engaged in coffee production since he was 18 years old, and later bought an estate called Acevedo Gatin and planted Caturra. Caturra is a natural variant of Bourbon, often with a refreshing fruity sour taste and a touch of sweetness. The former owner of Gatin Estate started the special processing program 3 years ago and told Ramirez how to develop it. With the enthusiasm for coffee cultivation, Ramirez changed the fermentation process and successfully develop a unique Anaerobic Natrual process method for Caturra coffee beans, which could bring out unique and special aroma of tropical fruits.
