Description:
Part of Costa Rica’s “Micro Mill Revolution” Helsar de Zarcero was built in 2005 by Ricardo Pérez and brothers Marvin and Felipe Rodriguez to process the coffees from each of their three farms. Focusing on quality processing, the micro-mill slowly expanded into processing coffees for farmers across the region. Today, Helsar processes coffee for about 30 producers in the West Valley.
